Edco €500 School Tour Giveaway 2025 – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
   The promoter of this competition is The Educational Company of Ireland (Edco)
2. Eligibility
   • Open to teachers and staff representing Primary and Post-Primary schools across the Republic of Ireland.
   • The school must be registered with a valid Department of Education roll number to claim the prize.
   • Entrants must be 18 years or older.
3. How to Enter
   Participants must complete all of the following steps on the official Edco Facebook or Instagram giveaway post:
   • Follow Edco’s official social media page (@edcoireland)
   • Like the giveaway post
   • Share the post to their story (make sure to tag @edcoireland so we can see it!)
   • Comment under the post with:
     • Your school name
     • Your favourite Edco titles
     • Tag 3 teacher friends
4. Entry Deadline
   • All entries must be received by 11:59PM on May 1st, 2025.
   • Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.
5. Winner Selection
   • One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
   • The winner will be announced via Edco’s official social media channels on May 2nd, 2025 at 7PM.
   • The winning entrant must respond within 2 weeks to confirm school details and eligibility.
6. Prize Details
   • The prize consists of a €500 contribution towards a school tour for the winning class.
   • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
   • Funds will be transferred directly to the official school account upon verification of school status and roll number.
   • The school tour must be scheduled and completed by June 30th, 2025.
7. General Terms
   • Edco reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant.
   • Edco reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time.
   • Entries that do not comply with these terms will be disqualified.
   • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
8. Data Protection
   • Any personal data submitted will be used strictly for competition purposes and in accordance with Edco’s privacy policy.
   • By entering, participants agree to the use of their name and school name in promotional materials if selected as the winner.
